I’m a Battle Creek, MI photographer who loves capturing families, seniors, and kids in a way that actually feels like you. Nothing stiff or overly posed...just a relaxed session where you can hang out together while I guide the rest.
I know being in front of the camera can feel awkward at first, so I’ll help with everything from locations to natural posing so you never feel like you’re supposed to magically know what to do. Even the reluctant husbands and dads usually leave saying, “that wasn’t so bad!”
I’ve spent years finding beautiful spots around Battle Creek and the surrounding areas, and whether you already have a vision or need help figuring it all out, we’ll make it fun and easy.

FAMILIES
Let’s be totally honest - the idea of family photos can feel a little stressful. Coordinating outfits, getting everyone out the door, hoping the kids (and maybe even the grown-ups) cooperate... I get it. But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be that way!
My family sessions are super relaxed, full of laughs, and completely painless - even for the dads. No stiff posing, no pressure. I’ll guide you through everything so you can just show up and enjoy your people. And if you’ve got wild toddlers? Bring ‘em on! I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve (and a high tolerance for chaos). Some of the best photos come from those in-between moments when kids are just being their silly, spirited selves. make it fun, easy, and something your whole crew (yes, even dad!) will actually enjoy.

EXTENDED FAMILIES
Getting the whole crew together? Count me in! Extended family sessions are some of my favorites...because there’s nothing more special than capturing multiple generations, loud laughs, and the beautiful chaos that comes with big family love.
Whether it's grandparents with their grandkids, cousins playing together, or all the siblings finally in one place at the same time, these sessions are about connection. They’re a chance to freeze a moment in time with the people who matter most, and let’s be honest, those moments are few and far between!
Don’t worry about making things perfect - I’ll help guide everyone, keep things moving, and make it as relaxed (and fun!) as possible. We’ll grab the classic posed shots and all the candid in-between goodness too. If you’re the planner of the group, thank you in advance! I know it’s no small feat coordinating everyone, and I’ll be right there with you to make it totally worth it.

Senior year is a big deal and your photo session should be just as unforgettable. Let's celebrate YOU! Your style, your personality, your vibe, and everything that makes this moment in your life so exciting.
Don’t worry if you’re not sure how to pose or what to do with your hands (literally everyone feels that way at first). I’ve got you! My sessions are relaxed, low-pressure, and actually a lot of fun. Even the guys who swore they’d hate it usually end up laughing and saying, “That wasn’t so bad!” (Which is basically a glowing review, right?)
We’ll pick a location that fits your vibe, chat about outfits, and include anything that’s important to you...sports, hobbies, pets, you name it. You just bring your awesome self, and I’ll take care of the rest.
